New Laika restaurant

New bar/restaurant next to Bambu.
We tried it last night and were impressed.  Can only comment on the steaks which were really tender and tasty, best we've had in a long time.
So, in the interests of the forum, we will visit again to check consistency. ;D

We had lunch there last week and it was very good, lovely food.   I had a G.&.T and it came in a glass with ice and lemon and a small bottle of Schweppes tonic next to it.  Lots of gin, it was a strong drink.  Mostly G.&.T comes already mixed.  I appreciate the way they served it.

Looking forward to tasting the food next time we are over. Our neighbour Mustapha works there. His father Ahmet is a taxi driver, so if you need a taxi at the end of the night or day ask Mustapha to phone his dad.   ;)  ;)

Hmm, not last night it didn't - usual pre-mix.

All the tables and chairs have gone and it looks like the bar has closed down.

Yes, in total darkness last night and the night before.  Started off so well last year too - shame.
