 ;D
Well here I am three weeks into my new life in Calis!! I arrived on 10th Oct with my life in three suitcases feeling happy but just a little uncertain of what lay ahead. Great transfer from Dalaman to Sun Valley complex, lovely appartment waiting for me, couldn't have gone better. Tax number and HSBC sorted out same afternoon and then the next morning Inspector and his lovely wife arrived to whisk me off to the Notary and then to his office to complete paperwork for residency application. Visit to Immigration Police office in Fethiye the next morning and application was completed and sent off! Thank You so much Mustapha, it went like clockwork and it was nice to know that I could now relax a little and start to find my way around my new home!

Everything has been helped by the fantastic weather we've been having, getting out and about has been a real pleasure, not to mention the beach on several days! Most flights back to the UK have or are about to finish this week, and the majority of restaurants and bars will be closed too. That means I'll have loads of time to get about and see different places without the rush, and get to know Fethiye and surrounds. Even signed up for Turkish lessons with Angel at the Nil Bar!!

So three weeks in I am really happy to have made the move and am looking forward to life here in Calis and no doubt meeting a few of you who are resident here.
