Implants are normally quoted in dollars last time I enquired they were about 1300 dollars. A three tooth bridge was 1500tl at holident.

that's more than I expected  a friend of mine  had one done at the brighton Implant Clinic for under £1000 a few years ago,  they are advertising single tooth ones for £795

As per Bernie's recommendation, Sian has indeed been to see Dr. Yediyildiz this morning and fully agrees with it!

X-ray, layered filling and smoothing at for 80TL!!

Thanks for the tip, Bernie!

Must say that I have to agree with Bernie and Ian and their comments about Fatih Yediyildiz at Fethiye Dental. I'd suffered with a painful filling which turned out to have cracked for a couple of months in UK before coming to Turkey. My dentist told me that the decay had spread too far down the cavity to do a root canal filling, and did a temporary packing/filling job whilst I decided to either have it removed or some work/graft done to the bone. Not fancying either option I decided to go and see Fatih after reading recommendations here and elsewhere. He is friendly and approachable, explains everything clearly and shows you the x-rays when discussing the problem.

He explained that it was still possible to carry out the necessary repair and over two visits he has done a great job which has left me pain free and and able to eat and drink easily again. I'll be needing a couple of crowns fitting over the next few months and I'll have no hesitation in going back to see Fatih again.
