Anatolian Panther: Extinct?
« on: January 26, 2009, 16:02:25 PM »
The last official sighting of the Anatolian Panther (also called Anatolian Leopard) was on 17 January 1974 when one was shot in the hills north west of Ankara. However, some naturalists believe that there could still be a few surviving - probably in Eastern Turkey in mountains close the Black Sea and to the Eastern Mediterranean. Have you seen any about?
