Kathryn, you could have one big party on your hands, now that you've mentioned nice cold efes!  Get the efes in, and we'll all bring over D1 forms from the post office!  We'll be over on the 26th!

Kathryn. Most government forms can now be downloaded and printed on line. Just a thought that might help.

Kathryn, I was just saying that you can download and print a blank form to save time. You can then fill it in and sort out any enclosures prior to posting.

It seems that Form D1 is not available to download, you have to apply to the Post Office.
To download DVLA forms that are available you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer,  Very easy to install....just search Acrobat on line. :)

You can change your address at DVLC on line but you cannot change your name  You can however order the form D1 from Dvlc's form ordering service to be sent to you and you then have to return the completed form to them with your existing license to be reissued. If you look at www.direct.gov.uk/motoring I think you will find all the info you need. :) As mentioned you can additionally get D1 from the post office.
