Post by: crazydave on May 08, 2009, 23:38:03 PM: Hi ive now got TVCATCHUP working again go to www.w2.hidemyass.com in the search bar remove www.utube.com then type in www.tvcatchup.com and then press hide my ass button, sorry its took so long to sort, Woody:D

Post by: captainjon on May 09, 2009, 13:04:38 PM: This is strange,we had catchup via sly pimp as I think most people did.But lost it and we were getting the same info on page not available to users outside UK.We reloaded it this morning as per woody and its back on.Chrissie lives 50 mtrs from me and still gets it via slypimp unless I have missed something,so where is the dif??????

Post by: geordieboy on May 11, 2009, 16:45:55 PM: Got into the tvcatchup forum a while ago and they are fully aware that people are accessing the service using proxy servers,they have introduced a guard to block these servers,so it does'nt matter which proxy server you use,within a short period of time they will block it.
Apparently to have it on your pc back in the UK you are supposed to have a TV license.
There's numerous complaints on the forum from people who take thier laptops abroad,holiday makers and business people,who can't access the service,and the reply is its only accessible in the UK.

Post by: crazydave on June 28, 2009, 08:11:51 AM: Ok here we go again,Heres how to watch uk tv for free without proxy servers this player as everything except bbc ,you get ITV1 ITV 2 ITV 3 ETC,and loads of films and radio channels when you download the player for free give it time to update then at the top you will see plugins download them all,but be aware there are loads of adult channels so dont blame me if a pair of knockers etc pop up so ive told you before you moan about it,its seems to work best at night just copy and paste the link below into your address bar and download it, theres no probs and no viruses,cheers Woody
