Title: Sultan City Aqua Park
Post by: kenkay on July 19, 2012, 17:57:34 PM
I went to the aqua park yesterday with my daughter Joanne, son-in-law Paul and grandson Harry. We all had a fabulous time. Although not up to the standards of the Ibiza or Beni parks it was perfect for a five year old (and a 67 year old ;D) The place was kept in very good order and the staff were helpful and friendly. Harry was up the steps and down the slides so often that everyone new him by name by the end of the day.
We intend to go again so needless to say I really recommend it  ;D

How much is it for adults and children? Is food and drink expensive once inside?

Not sure on entrance prices but we didn't feel it was particularly steep for food and drinks. If you can synchronise your drinks & ice cream buying with the passing happy hours it can be very reasonable indeed  :)

It's 30 tl for adults and 10 tl for kids over 4. Harry has just turned 5 so we cheated. The food and drink was not overly expensive and regularly in the afternoon they have two for the price of one sessions for beer, soft drinks and ice cream. I like the system where you pay in some credit and they give you a card for all purchases inside. You can top it up if required or get a refund if there's owt left at the end.

Last year one of the excursion shops on the strip were selling tickets cheaper than on the gate, worth a 5 minute walk! I think it worked out for two adults and a child that you saved the child's entry fee so if there is a large group of you it could add up nicely. I thought the food last year was not a patch on the previous year but maybe we were unlucky  :-\

I do because my sister and my nephews are coming to stay and 30tl for adults and 20 for children mounts up if they want to go a few times.

I enquired at a tour stand last night and it's a few tl less through them and I noticed Calis Beach restaurant are offering free tickets, but I'm not sure what you have to eat to qualify!
Does anyone know?

I did read somewhere that one of the restaurants gives free tickets if you buy some food. I think the owner is related to the owner of the Aqua Park.  I am pretty sure the restaurant is on the Anna's restaurant side of  the prom. If you do a search you may come up with something.

cafe soul was giving free tickets a few years ago because we declined the offer as of no interest to us personally, but if you have a few kids then it is of value. I do know its not cafe soul giving the tickets away this year.
