Hi - we have 2 chairs and a 2-seater - existing cushions are ok but don't like the colour and the foam is quite thin - so looking for new "off the shelf" or made to measure.
Anyone done this before locally and been pleased with the result?

Ian, have a walk down through Gunlukbasi, past the school, on the opposite side of the road, there are a couple of shops where we have had some things made up. The better one has always got pillows piled up outside, not always easy to see what they are doing behind that, but they WILL do the job for you !! Good luck. :D

Good shop on the junction at the old KiPA (well not old but not the new one....)
Will make covers to sizes required and supply foam and has a good range of material on show.

We had six cushions made to order for our wooden patio furniture, at the shop opposite kipa they cost 15 tl each, we had them made in a water resistant material. We measured our chairs, but if you took the old cushions I'm sure they would make you some the same.

I used the garden furniture shop past Tansas on opposite side of road. Good job and look lovely.

Just in case anyone else goes looking.....
We went looking for the shop opposite Kipa last week and there was no sign of it. They are doing some work on the roads there and a few shops on the corner looked empty.
We did however find a place a few hundred meters up the main road from Kipa towards Gunlucbasi - past the car showrooms etc. They have a few flags outside and some samples tied to the fence on the front.
The place was named "Fatih Branda" and they made the chair cushions to our mesurements (we also left a sample).
We are very pleased with the result.

there's a Sunbed shop on the opposite corner to Aydin Pide on BMB that will do this for you.

Is it possible to get sunbed cushions recovered? we were going to buy new this summer (ours are the stripey cloth material)but wondered if we could have them recovered into the wipe down plastic stuff ;)

Not sure about recovering, but the shop SteveJ mentioned, opposite Aydin Pide sells plastic ones. Cant remember the price, but we bought 6 and I dont remember thinking they were expensive, so they must have been pretty reasonable.
He also made new covers for the chairs.

I bought some new ones from a shop in Fethiye for 20tl each for new zipped covers and filling. A quote from another shop was 55tl each.
the shop is a material shop if you go to the top of the road where the Dolmus to Calis starts/stops behind the mosque turn right at the top and the shop is 50m on the left hand side.

We had our material sun bed covers recovered in wipe down plastic, all the shops which do outside furnishings will do this for you.
