Title: pop up drop down help

can anybody tell me how to get rid of this pop up, I say pop up but it is a drop down menu on the right hand side of my screen. It has a small symbol of a letter T and a smiley face. Apart from being irritating and appearing on every page , it slowing everything down and on a cloudy day in Turkey My Pc and windows are at risk, villa windows that is. I am running firefox on windows 7. thanks in advance.
