I just want to wish Andy Murray all the best for tomorrow.
I won't be able to watch it I'm afraid - too nervous and also because I believe that Novak is just too good and never knows when he is beaten.
-
Me too!
-
Strange I'm supporting and one but that Scottish bloke, if ONLY he was British ;)
-
Come on Andy - it was so good to see a British player who could return a serve coming in at 139mph - with the other player thinking - "how the hell does he do that" - waited all my adult life to see that and I am 62 this month ;)
-
Have to agree Ian, he was great especially after he got his second wind!
-
42 degrees here and the clocks went back last night, so we'll be cheering him on and will know if he wins an hour before you do in UK and 3 hours before TR

You're supposed to be on a CBF free holiday... would you like a temporary ban?

A momumental achievement in beating the World No. 1 who was playing so well.
Andy Murray did his town, his country (and the UK ;)) but, above all, himself proud today.
Very well done young man.

Hear hear H. Love ronzeus's comment too lol

Brilliant win Andy! Never thought it would be in straight sets but three long, hard fought sets. I confess that I shed a tear or two at the end. :)
-

Andy Murray quote during Sue Barker interview immediately after the match.
"....I also understand how much everyone else wanted to see a British winner at Wimbledon. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I tried my best."
I like that :).

I heard today that Alex Salmond had smuggled in a large Saltire, big enough to cover the shoulders and body. Apparently, you are only allowed small flags at Wimbledon.
After match, he offered the flag to Andy and to his credit Andy refused it. Image how Salmond would have capitalised on that and the pictures that would have followed. Well done Andy you were a llot smarter than Salmond gave you credit for.

A true champion - skill, dignity and class :-)

Well I reckon that's two awards already sorted now after this weekend!
