Title: I Player
Post by: Kevin Sowten on November 30, 2015, 14:40:19 PM
We've been using KODI TVMC to stream UK TV for several months and are very pleased with it.
However, I don't believe it supports I Player ?
I have been advised to try Cyberghost (which is also free) - Opinions/reviews please !!!!
TIA.

Kevin do you mean Ipad instead of Iplayer?  If so can you use/download Kodi on your Ipad. is this correct?  If it is the answer is yes, but you would need to 'jailbreak' your Ipad to load Kodi, and that is not something for the technically faint hearted.  If you do want to check out how, there are a number of informative sites, use google search, and also handy videos on how to on Youtube.

If you ask me straight out I wouldn't recommend that you attempt it.   ;)

Try this:

https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-manually-install-bbc-iplayer-for-xbmc-kodi/ (https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-manually-install-bbc-iplayer-for-xbmc-kodi/)

However, you'll need an unblocked (by the BBC) VPN if using from outside UK.

Or a cheaper and faster Smart DNS service instead of a VPN.

I've been using Hola for my VPN for a couple of months.
Free, easy to download and merged with my Chrome, so automatically opens whenever I need some BBC.
