Parking charge blamed on security
New car parking charges have come into force at Birmingham International Airport as a result of heightened security.
It means passengers will have to pay £1 to use a drop-off facility at the airport.
The move follows heightened security at the airport following the recent foiled terrorist attacks in the UK.
