A belated hello to everyone.

We have been coming to Turkey for over 20 years and have a house in Gokova.

Whilst many things have changed - no fighters in the dispersal shelters at Dalaman airport and metalled roads eg the essential warmth and welcome of the Turkish people has not changed.

Welcome to the Forum. Don't go telling Stoop where Gokova is before you decide whether or not you want him turning up there. Best kept a secret for the moment. Although MikeA and I know exactly where it is - or rather where both places that it might be are (i.e. on the coast or a couple of miles inland).

It refers to a particular blues singer who is appreciated by both Mike A and myself amongst many.
