buying in calis help
« on: May 27, 2009, 22:22:47 PM »
Hi
Im interested in buying a property in calis its a semi detached 2/3 bed for 50k.
Seems expensive but looks good.
Although I know Turkey lived Marmaris/icmeler for 5 yrs dont know calis at all.
No disrespect but i read in a turkish guide book that calis beach was not very clean how true is this?
Ive travelled around Fethiye, patara, saklikent and love surroun ding area just never been calis.
Help if you live there would love to hear your views.

Thanks

No problem  :)

Do you know where the semi is?

There are many answers to your beach question, the one I prefer is that it is cleaned in time for the season, then tourists come and use it as a big bin.

No just the tourists I'm afraid. Some of the locals are just as guilty, if not more so. The ammount of rubbish they leave after their weekend BBq's is unbelievabele:-\

Why would you want to pay good money on a house you've heard is good, in a resort you've been told that the beach is rubbish, without having a look at the pair of them yourself, i'd been coming to Calis for over 3 years before i decided to buy, and then i had a look at what i was spending my money on.
