The Indian Restaurant Along the front has Pelican Curry on the Menu it tasted great but the bill was enormous:D

There is a story that a few years ago these Pelicans were kidnapped by unscupulous people and taken to Kas to draw in the crowds outside their restaurant...

... and then they were snatched back and returned to their rightful place in Fethiye   8)

One of the guys told us last night the pelicans weren't allowed to be there any more cos of health and safety regulations ( didn't know they applied in Turkey ).Probably a fairy story. Also first time we have had a meal there but didn't like it at all.

Health and Safety.... get off...they dont do health and safety....not when its an attraction that earms money...

they were a real tourist attraction, cant see that H & S would even enter into that, have to say when we passed several times i couldnt help but stop and check them out.....they are lovely....and vry mischevious
