2013 Charity Calendar Photo Competition

Following the success of last years calendar photograph competition the 3C's are now asking forum members to send in their favourite holiday photographs  of Calis and the local area for selection for the 2013 charity calendar.

The photographers of the selected photgraphs will all receive a certificate and a small prize.  But best of all will be the knowledge that your photo has been published in the calendar.

If you wish to send us a photograph please do so either through my profile on this forum or at info@caliscarnival.com Please can you make sure that this is sent as a large file rather than a compressed picture in order for us to produce the best quality photograph for reproduction. Unfortunately some of the photos submitted last year, although very good, were too small kbs to be considered for printing

The closing date of the competition is the 31 August. We then hope to make our selection and have the calendars printed and on sale by the end of September.

As 90% or more are likely to be scenery, buildings or sunsets, I doubt that anyone on the "judging panel" would be smart enough to recognise that the photo was taken a year or two ago. Though a picture of the dolphin roundabout might be a give away  .

Unless it is photos of the building work going on on the sea front that could be a give away. lol but hopefully there will be some of the Carnival Parade which we could use.

I'm afraid we need to close on 31st August to give us time to get the calendar printed & on sale in September, as they make such lovely souvenirs

Thicko here and I do apologise but what is the answer to "does the picture have to be taken in 2012"

No, unless it is obviously dated much earlier ie is of something that no longer exists
