A day in the life

..of Animal Aiders

Well what a day! first job is take Buster and Brucie our animals for treatment at Serkans :), next job deliver some cat litter to the shelter as they had run out :), next job to call on lady who let us know about a mummy dog that had just lost all her ten puppies:( only being a few days old she was pining badly and full of milk, we went to see her and explained to the daughter our plan! which was to go to the shelter(again) and pick up some new puppies for her to take on :), well went to the shelter and all the puppies were too old so plan B, we knew of some puppies that had been born a few weeks ago and were looking for new homes so we proceeded towards that house(just round the corner from where we were originally!) then the phone rang, it was Emre asking me to come back to the shelter! so we did and ...a lad had just brought in a little bucket with three new born puppies!!! :) Great and off we go again back to mummy dog, she took to them straight away and off they went guzzling away on her ;-))) and we left them all looking happy :)!
Off to the next job, last week we had reports of a dog with a broken leg in Dalyan, we got in touch with some animal lovers down there and they went off to find it, to their horror the dog which had been hit 17 days ago was lying in a ditch and left to die right next to a restaraunt:(.
The kind people from Dalyan drove the dog here to Serkan where it is now being treated for hairline fractures from good kicking!
The dog herself is in very good condition under the circumstance and will recover well after a few weeks in heavy bandage :).
Photos will appear later but she is a 7 month old black collie/spaniel type dog she is very good looking and friendly.
She now neeeds fostering for a few weeks rehab or a permanent new home, she has also been deflead and deticked.
Any offers of a home out there please let us know. :)
