I agree Keith its like Managers get scared not to play him  :-X We need to step up big time though if we are to progress and the game will have done him good, lets hope we can start weekly and get stronger!

Well Rob, on the subject of Italy 1990 you will doubtless recall the heroics, the skill of Platt scoring against Belgium, and the heart of Gascoigne - but the reality of that (fantastic) England campaign was three easily forgotten group games against Holland, Ireland and Egypt - all totally dire.

So, we are on track for the semi finals at least :D

Who could ever forget   :) But i can`t see a Platt Or Gascoigne in Milner or Young!  :-\ Id love to be wrong though   ;)

Im not a rooney lover I personally think he is way over rated as hesky was but managers kept picking him.

On the other hand what is the alternative? I dont think we have a goal machine in the premier league at the moment and havent had for some time.
