pain in the gallstones
« on: May 29, 2013, 19:23:25 PM »
looking for advice please. i have recently been in hospital with gallstones. i am now on nhs waiting list to have gall bladder removed. however i am heading to calis on 22 june for 18 days and will not have been done by then. question is. if i have another episode of gallstone pain and needed hospital treatment or morphine as before. do i need extra insurance cover over and above my travel insurance?  or what cost would be involved?  thanks in advance for any help

You need to include pre existing illnesses on your policy otherwise you won't be covered. You can also get an excess waiver. It might cost you quite a bit though.
