Very informative! The street cat we have been adopted by is going from strength to strength. With Animal Aid's help he had some treatment for a grass seed in his eye, which has left him blind in that eye, he was also neutered & treated for fleas & wormed. With  the help of Animal Aid he's a different cat!

Before & after photos!

:) You guys & gals will be getting asked for your autographs now  :)

Brilliant work, very well done to all of you  :)

PS: How's the fundraising going to transport the couple from Uzumlu dogs back to the UK?

There's a competition to name the newsletter - sure some of the members here will come up with some good names, over to you....

Cef -  Toots and Peggie along with Tina the cat are all hoping to start their journey back to the UK mid October, the paperwork is being completed now.

 :-[ Thank you lotty  :-*

Over the years I've supported AA & other the other local charities in small ways & I'm happy to have been able to do so, like so many others  :)

I'm surprised that people aren't coming forward & suggesting names for the AA Newsletter?  (maybe a new thread?)  With so many supporters I thought this would perhaps be a popular & a bit of a laugh thread  :)

Ok, I haven't run this past 'the powers that be' but, I've not been to Turkey or contributed as usual to AA this year so I'll throw £50.00 in the pot if someone can come up with an idea that will raise some more dosh for our furry friends &, help find a name for the AA Newsletter.

Over to you guys  :)

That's great news Tinks, silly me - thanks for the update & I look forward to hearing the name chosen  :)

I'll get 'me-laddo' to transfer the £50 when he gets back off his hols  :)

PS: Why not put some of the suggested names on here too  :)
