BBC1: Rip off in Calis?
« on: September 02, 2013, 09:18:47 AM »
Ok if I'm wrong I'll live with it but a trailer for what's coming up on Rip Off Britain right now did appear to look very much like a complex in Calis....

What a shame, £130.000 lost by this couple.  I think the name of the Estate Agent Cem Cakir should be noted by everyone, he really ripped this couple off.  I hope they get their money back, but I don't hold out a lot of hope for them.  :( >:(

That is Cem yes. I'm pretty sure the builder was a company called A1, they were dodgy as...

Strange the builder (who didn't pass the deed to the buyers) got off scot free in the programme, not even a mention.

It's going to be OK. The estate agent stated he will pay back their money when he can.

Blimey that's my next door neighbour villa.  I heard there had been somebody diddled over the villa, but this poor couple were royally had over.  I hope, against real expectation, that they are able to get their money back and that tis Cem bloke ( and the builder) gets locked up double quick. >:(

Anyone know who actually owns the villa now, cos it is a mess, severe damp problems, and in the absence of anyone taking responsibility I've cleaned the empty pool twice now, because it was starting to stink and the green scum made it a real eyesore. >:( >:(
