Another facet of the RTE v FG fallout which not many saw coming - I certainly didn't!

Regarding the Sledgehammer and Ergenekon trials the PM is quoted as saying "Our position on a retrial is a favourable one".  I'm surprised he didn't rupture a disc with the U turn he's had to do on that one.

It really is amazing watching this unfurl - it would be funny if it weren't so serious - its almost like a sitcom.

I suspect this is the "my enemies enemy is my friend" scenario but it has to be right and welcomed if dozens if not hundreds of the military were locked up incorrectly.

I'm relatively new to Turkish politics and generally struggling to get my head around what appears to be something of a farce.
