Kargı village school is one of the latest schools to receive help from the 3C’s Children’s Charity.
The large village school which has 170 pupils was desperately in need of a new photocopier machine as their old one was beyond repair. Just before Christmas they applied to the 3C’s to see if we could assist with the purchase of this, which they said would benefit all of the school children by printing their homework and lesson sheets.
Members of the 3C’s made an initial visit to the school and during this visit found out that the school also needed footballs, basketballs and volleyballs for their games lessons. A computer and speakers was also on their wish list.
We agreed to purchase the photocopier and balls for the school and also provided a computer which had been donated to our charity by a 3C’s supporter which we had paid to have reconditioned and reprogrammed with Turkish programmes and fitted with a Turkish keyboard.
This completed project which cost 3,000 TL is just one of many projects currently being funded by the 3C’s.
Another big project nearing completion is help for a local disabled school – more about this one in a couple of weeks.
Again a huge thanks to everyone who supports our charity and enable us to help the children
