My cup runneth over (or at least I hope it will)
« on: May 01, 2014, 20:35:44 PM »
I hope that I am not pushing my luck here but it is for a cause close to my heart and it revolves around an event which happens only every four years so I thought I would give it ago.

Three different events for you to chose to participate in  – a tall order, I know but hopefully there will be enough interest for all three to succeed and we will raise loads of money for underprivileged children. Please feel free to join in all three if you wish  ;)

ONE: THE CUP WINNERS:

I have randomly allocated the numbers 1 – 32 to the teams. You choice a number and when all 32 have been taken I will reveal who your team is.
If you choice one of the top 8 seeded teams you are asked to donate £ 15, a team from the 8-16 group and it’s £ 10.00, a team from 16-24 will cost you a fiver and a team from the last group a mere £ 2.00.

WINNER RECEIVES PRIZE TO THE VALUE OF £ 20:00

TWO: THE WINNER OF THE GOLDEN BOOT

Much more straightforward this time. I have randomly allocated the numbers 1 – 30 to the favourites to win the golden boot (top scorer in the tournament. You choice a number and when all 30 have been taken I will reveal who your player is. It’s only £ 5.00 per player.

WINNER RECEIVES PRIZE TO THE VALUE OF £ 20:00

THREE: THE SUPPORTERS BUS

THE SUPPORTERS BUS:
My favourite. A ticket will cost a pledge of 5 lira for every game that England win that’s a maximum of only 35 lira. You can also upgrade to first class with a pledge of 10 lira per England win. I am sure there are many, many England supporters on here and I’m hoping to fill a 40 seater.

Andy Murray as far as I know is not a member so I will start the bus rolling by buying the first ticket.

Please, please remember giving on CBF will never be required or indeed expected.
