Malahit Hotel...looks fab, but
« on: September 19, 2015, 06:24:17 AM »
This Hotel looks so good and the pictures on the website are fabulous, but, Phil and I were saying what a strange place to build an Hotel.  It is right next to Tansas on the M.K.Bld.   Must be awkward for strangers staying there to get into Fethiye or Calis.

This Hotel belongs to and was built by our next door neighbour Onat, it is mostly business people that stay there although he has told us that tourists are also staying there, as regard's to getting to and from Fethiye and Calis, the Dolmus stops outside and it's a stone's throw away from a walk along the Kordon.
The Hotel has been open for almost two years now.

Hmm! Looking at the prices (200-300 TL a night) I think I'd give it a miss...
You might be hard pushed to get a beer there too  ;)

Philrose, the hotel is mostly used by people here on business, they stay for a day or a couple of nights, would mostly be Turkish, I don't think it would be a choice of Hotel for a holiday, but is a beautiful Hotel and a great location if clients don't want to be in the centre of Fethiye. Most clients that stay there arrive by car, Although it's expensive It's well worth it, you can also spend the day there  for 50 Lira and use all the facilities, but it is very quiet.

I'm liking the curved walls and doors in the bathrooms - very modern  ;D

It's a beautiful hotel....with the new prom it's easy to walk to Fethiye or Calis.... Or Dolmus outside... My cousin decided last minute to visit us....as we had a full house...we checked various hotes near...Went to the Malahit hotel we were quoted 130 tlr per night... Very good... Most hotels are fully booked next week...

Reminds me a bit of the Tiryaki.  Lovely luxury Hotel, but out in the sticks.

Think I'd much prefer to be at the Malahit than stuck up in Blackpool on t'hill, which is also marketed on some sites as being Fethiye  ???
