Noticed on our walk into Fethiye today that both fish in bread boats had gone! Looks like one of my favourite lunch stops are no more!

Could be that they are at the boat yard for a bottom scrub before the season starts

That's  good news, if it's only a temporary thing. It would be a shame to see another Fethiye tradition dissappear....

That sounds good for your balik ekmek fix. I know other areas in Turkey where "restaurant boats" have been prohibited because of pollution - kitchen waste being dumped overboard. But I don't suppose there is much waste, or cooking, for balik ekmek.
