Beds
« on: August 15, 2019, 16:21:02 PM »

Hello everyone,
I’m looking to buy two wooden framed single beds (the type with wooden slats) but I can’t seem to find a place that has them, does anyone know of a place I might get some?

Many thanks

Woody

Take some photos or a brochure to one of the carpentry shops on the Antalya Road or the Saniye and they'll make whatever you need in a few days.

The clue's in the name. It's the road going out of Fethiye towards Antalya.   ;) There are several workshops along there when you get to the Patlangic area.

That's the one. But, it's officially called Adnan Menderes Cad.

Anyway, once you get to Patlangic, which is the area where the Saturday Market is held, there are several workshops.

D400 is the main road you would take going from Dalaman to Antalya. The road with the carpentry shops on, though a few have closed in the past couple of years, is the road going out from Fethiye to join that road near Karaculha. Think advice to go to saniye is also good, places there that can make beds etc.

Where do you live, in Calis or Fethiye ? There is an excellent carpenter in Koca Calis just down from the main road near to the Turkish delight factory. He made our wooden singles

Thank you legless, that is just down the road from our villa, we will go and see this carpenter and ask if he can make us a couple of beds when we are there in 2 weeks time, we looked everywhere when we were there in may and just could not find what we wanted, so many thanks for the info  8)
