Total cost of living.
« on: March 08, 2020, 06:07:03 AM »

Hi all,
This may have been asked a thousand times but I can't find anything up to date by the experts,

Do you think it is possible to live/survive on a thousand dollars a month in the Fethie/Calis area, that would be for a single person in modest accommodation and mainly eating at home.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Thanks all for the replies,

So for about 240 to 330 USD I could find somewhere to live.

I will be over there in early April just for about 10 days.

Yes that's USD.

Last year a friend of ours was looking for an apartment the main problem was that the cheaper apartments the owners did not want to sign a binding contract as that would normally mean they would have to pay tax on the rental income but to get residency you need proof of address which the contract is so cheap isn't always best They found an apartment owned by an English owner for I think £400 a month (but it could of been cheaper)

£400 a month for an apartment is expensive if long term

Is the annual inflation rate a factor to be considered. ?
