Has anyone visted Butterfly Valley in April time or taken a jeep safari. I am wanting to plan a dayout with the grand children and wonder if these excursions are possible and practicable at this time. If you have any other ideas let me know. Also I would like to take them to a local mosque and wonder how best to arrange this.  Their ages are 10 and 5.  Many thanks Stuart

Loved the Jeep Safari Stuart but I would say take a scarf or something for the kids because when we went, the dust off the roads was horrendous.......it did'nt spoilt the trip though, well worth taking, and better to be travelling in front if you can, less dust!
Hope you enjoy it
Julie :o))

Some of the Jeep Safaris stop off on the way for a visit to a mosque, ask when you book. Take sweaters, the return journey in the evening can get a bit cold at that time of year. :)

Both were all open for business at that time last year; as with everything else, do not forget to barter. I have a number of other suggestions on my apartment website, see my profile.
I hope this helps. 8)

Went to Butterfly Valley in August 2004 ... saw one butterfly!
Walked most of the way to the waterfall but was told by others
returning from the waterfall not to bother!

Can only hope its better earlier in the year! :D
