I can't remember the last time I went into a high street travel agency. It may have been 20 years ago. I am surprised the TC still has 800 of them.

I was the same never been into a Travel Agents for years, but went into Thomson in December and booked a last minute week abroad. It was a 5 star hotel b.&.b and was just a little over what we pay for our flights to Turkey. The girl in the Travel Agency told me that they are always busy and are taking on more staff.
However, I think T.C. are cutting back because more people now book online and  the High Street Shops are not necessary anymore.
