Not strictly "nothing to do with Turkey" but ...


Today is UN International Day of Happiness. So, go on, don't just sit there - be happy! I await CBF members retired to Turkey chipping in with "Every day in Turkey is Happy Day" and thus inducing envy and grumpiness in the rest of the CBF population. It won't worry me, as I will walk along the river over to my local pub and buy myself a Happy Pint (or perhaps two) and my only concern will be which of the six excellent ales on offer I shall patronize today. Cheers! Be happy! (Wonder if they'll make me one of those world-travelling UN ambassadors?)

Thank you very, very much Colwyn for your reminder of today's significance. I am EVER so HAPPY to be rid of my property in Turkey, and both my Darling Lorraine and I are over the moon, cock-a-hoop, tickled pink, (leave it !!) at once more being able to relax in the HAPPY atmosphere of our own home in sunny Hampshire.
