Have you seen Ripper Street Nichola?   The first series was excellent and the Beeb disappointed a lot of people by saying that it would cost too much money for a second series.  However, after a lot of pressure they relented and the new series is now on.  It is a Victorian Drama Series, great costumes and street scenes.  Think you may like it.

Thanks Jacqui, I will add it to the list.

I like to watch series from beginning to end and I particularly like the costume dramas; a lot of the textiles used come from Turkey.

I also love costume and the costumes in this series are fabulous as are the street scenes of Victorian life.  This is why the Beeb did not want to make another series as this first one cost so much to make because it is so authentic to the era.  Tip... the American Doctor (who is a bit of a rogue) is really my favourite...perhaps he will be yours?

Yes, spoke to Phil this evening, I had forgotten there were two series.  The one on at present is No.3.
So, all the more for you to watch Nichola.

I've just watched the pilot episode of a series called Blindspot.

A large bag is discovered dumped in Times Square, inside is a naked woman. She is covered head to toe in tattoo's but she has absolutely no memory of who she is, how she got there and what the tattoo's mean. An FBI agent is assigned to her case and realises that she is a walking treasure map. Can they unravel the clues?

Looks like it's going to be a good 'un  :D
