Title: Another pair of newcomers
Post by: wolverleywanderers on September 16, 2014, 17:43:27 PM
Dear All; Just to introduce ourselves - Paul & Cynth - going under the name of wolverleywanderers. We love Turkey and have visited several times (3 or 4 to Olu Deniz, 1 to Side [not impressed], 2 to Kalkan). We will be visiting Calis Beach on 6th October for 10 nights & I came across this forum while doing "the research"!! Really looking forward to it - to such an extent that I have a feeling that it might be the kind of area that I would definitely consider buying a property (prices seem very reasonable). This is obviously something that we will not be rushing into - I have no doubt whatever the "the Memsaab" will be nowhere near as keen as myself. We will have to see. Anyway, thanks in advance for all the help & advice that may be asked for in due course.

Welcome Paul & Cynth, we have also been going to Turkey for 10 years, always to Calis. We love it there & are also looking at buying a property with perhaps a permanent move in a few years. We are also from Worcestershire, near Evesham.
Have a great time you will love it.
Graham & Annette

Welcome to you guys too   :)

If you are looking for a property have a word with Cenk at Interturk - he's a good honest man and a structural engineer into the bargain. Estate agency over there should be viewed a bit like flying a plane is - if your number of landings is equal to your number of take offs, then you are good at it. With Turkey estate your number of sales and the number of debt free, full title deeds you secure should be equal   :)

Not all can claim that, sadly. Enjoy your search, it can be great fun   :)

Thanks for that Scunner, we had already looked at Interturks website & earmarked a couple of properties to have a look at. Have also enlisted Rimms help for a day to have a look with us as well. He comes reasonably cheap but don't tell him that............
