you turkish lovers make me laugh, can't you leave it alone can you, you can have all that turkish stuff in turkey, you philistines, it like having fish & chips or your rosties in Calis. You should stick to traditional english fare, plain sausage & mash a bit of steak & kidney pie... you come over here with your funny ways leave it in turkey you are spoiling the culture ........next you be wanting effes as well.

Is that the resturant right on the corner? Right near the
railway station? If it is we had a meal in there a few weeks
ago. Was really really nice.

Still - fingers crossed, we are out next Friday!!!!

Am i being paranoid or is it just a coincidence ?

1, You come from Liverpool, our daughter lives there.
2, Your girlfriend comes from Southend, I was brought up there.
3, You had a meal in a Turkish restaurant in Beckenham, my wife was brought up there.

Hi webbster,
Ergen's is right on the corner but not near a railway station.
It is quite a modern resurant with big glass doors & frontage.
It is half way down the high street - I think it is opposite a church.
The nearest railway is Berckenham Junction which is right up the top.
I am not sure which restaurant you are reffering to.

It's worth going to.

The one we went to was at the top of the high st
on the corner. The railway station was on the
other side of the road.Obviously not the same one
you were refering to as this was a big old building.
Good food though.

The only resaurant I can thing of in your description is a Thai Restaurant. It is in an old bank's building. This is opposite the Irish bar.

I have a meeting with Coventry FC next week so I might give it a go. I have seen the posters on the lamp posts and was surprised to see the name Fethiye so I had a double take.

Hi Brummyboy iv tried the Fethiye restaurant in Coventry. The food is beautiful!! Just like how u would expect it if you had it in Turkiye. Which was surprising, but i wasnt complaining! The Efes were in the smaller bottles imported from Turkiye. Entertainment (belly dancing) was great. The night was spot on, and not to far from us in Brum!!
