Excellent - thank you for those photos, I love seeing old pictures, amazing to think there was once a railway line running through Calis - no signs of that today, and no sign of the canal??

One for old Calis hands here. My parents visted Calis somewhere around 1994 and took these photos. When they came over with us in 2011 to our place they drove me crazy asking if I knew where these places were, if anyone recognized them and whether we knew any of the children. Considering it was about 17 years after the original photos I was clearly at a loss with the people but the views I cannot work out either. The street view was allegedly the road to Hotel Athena from Calis Beach, anyone any idea about the arch and if any of our Turkish subscribers recognise themselves here then my parents send you their best wishes. I'm just looking for peace and quiet:D

The third photo is surely looking from where the aquapark is towards the dolphin roundabout junction (yet to be invented). That makes the apartments on the left the Aries apartments and a little nearer the red/orange crates are sitting at the Hotel Aries/Orient security hut of today. The building on the right would then be the Cenk Bey Hotel..? Incredible if true, great photos!
