Interested to hear from anyone who is using the SkyFibernet service.
How have you found it - what are the speeds like (upload and download), what's the support like (english speaking or not etc.), how quick are they to resolve faults in the event of problems etc. etc.
Any thoughts and feedback would be great!

Into our second year and it’s good. Speed isn’t brilliant at about 8.5mbps but it’s pretty stable and they are very good at answering problems and informing users of maintenance. English is good.
We have unlimited use for three months per annum (when we need it) andjt cost us 400tl this year.
Not sure what the set up charges are.

We use it on a 3 month package it works very consistently and reliably, problems usually quickly resolved (depending on the actual nature of the problem itself). Service very good. Upgrade packages available and we have the 15mb package I think there is a 20mb package too. I use it for a 2 hour internet radio broadcast weekly and wife uses it for working including logging onto her work computer in UK and a sharepoint capability. Not had any major issues in 2 years to be honest. We also run an Amazon Firestick off it wirelessly and tv usually ok until around 9pm when buffering starts. Would probably consider running Skyfibrenet's own tv package but don't really watch it enough to worry.

It sounds like it's pretty good.
Upload is a big downside for me with TTNET currently - It's about 600Kbps which is painful for uploading images or video etc.
Have you had much experience with uploading?
Interesting that TV starts buffering - the bandwidth is supposed to be guaranteed based on your price plan so this shouldn't really happen. If the bandwidth is reserved, it suggests there may be a bottleneck in their system of sorts - perhaps a slow or inadequate switch/router or a wireless link running at capacity etc.
Any further thoughts and feedback most welcome!

We tend to use it for Netflix at night and have never had problems using it through the Firestick.

Thanks for the reply Stoop - good to hear - sounds like its a good service overall and the capacity is certainly better for the more rural areas.

May be worth asking what area people who use sky fibernet are in as a lot of internet in FETHIYE seems to depend on where you are & with which provider for the better service. We use Finet (in calis) download fine for phone's, firesticks etc but upload speed is no good ,luckily we don't need it to much.
