Can anyone tell me the CURRENT price of a 5 year visa.  I have heard they have gone up recently.  I am just checking for a friend who had been quoted  over £1000..... :o

A lot of folks are now going for the 90 day visa option because of the hike in costs.

We got ours on the assumption that they would get more expensive.  I am so glad we did.  Friend is travelling to Rhodes 3 monthly.

and they only have to overstay accidentally once and then they get banned from re-entering for 3 months.

OK, update.  I got the price wrong.  It is £1500 each.  So, does THAT sound right for a 5 year????

I agree Starman, it is not nice to have the worry of it.
