Well what can I say good old sat comes up trumps again....Not....

Sauntered down the Sat for a change as Surf Cafe is our favourite most days, but thought let's not be boring and all that .....got sun beds , nice, lay there for an hour at which time 6 or 7 young children started to tun riot, screaming shouting!, Stu and I thought..ah time for lunch!!, ordered 2 Efes asked for a menu, sat down to decide what we wanted, Stu went yo the bar to order only to be told NO lunch food as they have a wedding later !!!!!
Question being, why hand the menu out???
A notice saying no lunch food would not have been a bad idea.
It's not the first time we have been here and had problems  and considering it's probably the most expensive place certainly to drink if not eat...we have drawn a line and will give them a big miss next time........big thumbs done Shat.....

I went there every day last week, only problem was the sunbeds, most were split down the length, if you're paying extra for food etc, the least they can do is provide working sunbeds?
Lying on those bean bags was being in bed, so comfy!

Jenny, yes you are correct the fabric ones are all split and a lot if the plastic ones are broken....we had bean bags and they are lovely  but get that at surf cafe...so really no contest.when the waiter collected our glasses he said more beer, I said 'no' but lunch would have been nice...he just walked off...enough said...surf cafe every time for us....

Will try Surf def next time, walked almost to it this time, but made it as far as the horses and thought I will come back tomorrow as it was really hot and I had a banging head, but I didn't!

Must admit we've never been fans of Sat since it first opened.  Lovely location and all that but service, food and prices have always been totally inconsistent.
Too often we ordered food only to be told it is "not available today"...and when it was "available" it was nothing to write home about:(
In fact at one time even the offer of a free Xmas meal, paid for by Hanel House, couldn't persuade us to go back:-\

Ermm, I had good reason? If you hadn't made me ride 10k to Fethiye on that bike, I may have been awake to walk next day!

It's one place that never enters my head to eat at anymore. I wouldn't risk a disastrous evening just because the view is nice. Give me the Sahil Lokatasi and the view of the Migros lights any day of the week :D
