Kaz and I are also saddened by this news, we have enjoyed a lot of great evenings (and days) at Bostan's, Recep and Carol have become great friends and we will be still socialising with them. We wish them all the very best in their next adventure. Let's make it a really wonderful New Years Party to start the year off.

A real shame to lose one of the friendliest bars in the area.Good luck to Carol and Recep in whatever they decide to do in the future.

After all the blood, sweat and tears that went into re-establishing the new and improved Bostans its so sad to see it go but because of the blinkered attitude the owners of these rental hotels have its not a surprise. The people who rent these places have to foot the bills for repairs, making the places habitable, upgrading the existing buildings etc out of their own pockets. Then when this is done they have to go about making enough busness through hard work and long hours to be able to pay the rental, their staff and all the other costs that go with running a successful hotel/restaurant.If they are lucky they will make a profit. When the owners see this they then increase the rent so again there is the cycle of trying to generate more business in a failing tourism market to be able to pay yet more rent.,and with the cost of living rising this is just sometimes impossible.I think Recep and Carol have made the right choice in calling it a day and not working themselves into the ground for yet another year just to add to this landlords bank balance.Take some time out, enjoy life and do some socialising with all the friends you have made over the past 4 years.I wish you both well in whatever career path you both decide to follow.

This realy is so sad. How heartbreaking for Carol and Recep. All the upgrading, refurbishment, hard. hard work at nights like the curry nights etc and to be let down so badly by a landlord!!! A really sad ending.
I wish both of you all that you wish for yourselves and your future. You are such a sociable couple, you and your establishment will be sadly missed.
All the best guys

We had a tour around the Hotel when Carol first bought all the furniture etc. and they were working so hard to get the place ready for opening. The rooms are some of the most well furnished and the smartest that we have seen in this area. They had some wonderful friends who were working their socks off to help them. All through the work and not to mention the money that went into it  I never saw Carol doing anything but smile although The stress must have been incredible. She and Recep have always gone out of their way to help the 3 CS and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.. We are totallly digusted and really really sorry that it has come to this... I am too angry to say what I think about the landlady... Good luck for The Future what ever you decide to do...
