Well, have a scout round the area then. But be careful that any trees you see haven't already been "spoken for". Even if they're not on somebody's land many of them have been cultivated over generations and the "owners" get a bit miffed if an outsider starts muscling in on their crop.

I know of a dozen sloe trees on the mountains surrounding the Kaya area but all "belong" to a family.

Why dont you just bring bottle over with you might not be any differnce in price ,my friend bought port for me at duty free ,and the same make and size and year in Tesco was £1.00 cheaper . :D

If they have it at the Airport I will certainly, bring a bottle in, but I am not sure if they will sell it.  There is no way I am going out picking berries to make my own sloe gin.  I will be too busy relaxing.
