Manolya Italian Restaurant.
« on: October 25, 2013, 09:58:55 AM »
Before we left last month, we noticed a new restaurant being furnished.  It is near the Shanghai Blue and was called the Manolya, it seemed to be an Italian.
My question is, has it opened, has anyone been for a meal and what is it like?
We thought it a strange time to open, but it looked lovely and would not be too far from us, so it would be interesting to know.   :)

So, it's an Hotel and a restaurant, that's interesting.  I look forward to the food reviews.
Thanks Jan.

I love Italian food Jacqui so when I can start eating out again I'll let you know what the restaurant is like.  Hoping it will be good as it's not far from our house ;)

I go past most days I am pretty sure they have not started doing food yet, just a bar but never more than a couple of people in.

Yes, there's a pool Jacqui - I believe they are apartments rather than an Hotel but could be both.

Thank for the information folks.  I suppose they may not start selling food until the season starts.  We went passed a few times last month and though it looked like a really nice place, so looking forward to when they do sell food.
Phil was saying it seemed an odd time to open a place like this at the end of the tourist season.
I see the Apart Hotel on lots of sites on the Internet, including T.A.  Have to say it looks lovely.
