Saw programme on tv about uk people having to/or making a choice to fly to poland etc for expensive albeit cheaper by up to 50% than uk do you reckon turkish dentist are a)cheaper b)modern enough to compete with eastern europe , if so may be rental market in off season to dentally challenged brit to get sorted ;)

Definitely cheaper and often more modern than many UK dentists.

Definitely cheaper and better, my dentist also gives me a cigarette while waiting for the anaesthetic to work.

My brother-in-law is a dentist in Bursa. His pracitice dentists all go to the States once a year to attend conferences to ensure that they are up to date with all the modern technology of the day. Their costs work out at about a quarter of the UK prices.

thanks for info the reason for thread was had tooth ache went to private practise quote £366 to fix, managed to get on nhs list(20mins drive)guy took same Xrays and reckons on 20mins work cost unsure but a fraction of private, quite worrying about taking advise from private dentist as its in their interest to do more work. I will take up turkish dentist when there.
