Picked up on some guy saying comments were vicious and uncalled for...maybe that's why there hasn't been a huge response.
Personally thought people were being honest with their comments.

I think really the comments already made leave people with very little extra or new to say.

I think you are right, plus it will probably be deleted soon. But it would be nice to have 7,000 + comments on their site even if they are all the same: :):D ;)

I too e mailed Nadia's quite a few times as soon as the article appeared in the papers. I am still awaiting a reply!

No reply but then did,nt expect one.Was not rude just expressed that I hoped her business done really well in the future and that she was still around next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some very nice, kind person has added something further on the Wikipedia site .....
Go to http://wikimapia.org/#lat=36.5741897&lon=29.1352326&z=16&l=0&m=b Delete the centre bit with comments about Nadias (bloody great aren't they??) and you are left with the wikamap. Hover your mouse over the dolphinarium and a caption should appear

Nadias Bar....Now I bet you wished you backed the right horse eh? Don't worry, people might have forgotten your part in this disgraceful fiasco in a few years......NOT. When your business has bitten the dust,and have tried to start up somewhere else people will still remember your face, and the part that YOU played in this cruelty.
Hope your season has been as miserable as Tom & Mishas, and long may YOUR misery continue.

Sadly the majority of tourists that would have used 'Nasty Nadias' this season may never have known her involvement with the Dolphins. We need to ensure that it isn't a forgotten memory and that now, as much as ever Tom and Misha need our support in their on going rehabilitation. I, my family and friends, regular visitors to Turkey will never go in the establishment again, and they will pass on the word to others.
However, a message to Nadia - its not too late - if you regret your involvement and wish to make amends I'm sure the rehab fund would like to receive some of your profits. Actions speak louder than words............

What profits?? Their takings must be well down.!!!!! Maybe those given sweeteners to open this pool in the first place could donate that money to the future rehab of Tom and Misha. This would be good for their souls, if they have any that is!

I find it very sad that people have gone from working so hard to free the dolphins, to now trying destroy someones lively hood, they were guilty of trying to make a fast buck like most bussiness people in any country would.
I am sure once they saw the state of the place they were kept in they did not agree with it any more than we did.
Very rare I go to Hisaronu so I have no vested interest in Nadia's bar, I think I went in about 10 years ago.

That isn't the case at all Mark. Long after being guilty of trying to make a fast buck and seeing the state of the place, Nadia's Bar tried to drown out the speeches at the peaceful protest march. By then they knew exactly the state the dolphins were being kept in. Furthermore, most business people in the area did NOT try and make a quick buck from the dolphinarium.
I think you will find they tried to destroy their own livelihood and did it very well. Same for Hamish McTurk and Seaside Tours, most tour companies lectured people who asked about it and pleaded with them not to support it by buying tickets. Nobody is to blame for any damage to their businesses but themselves.

I 2nd that scunner Nadia,s bar is opposite,and they also helped to dump Misha and Tom into the hell hole so they were fully aware of the state of the place.

I totally agree, a far as I could see nadia's bar were in it for what they could get regardless of what happened to Tom and Misha, they did not care about them but hoped that they could cash in on what was out and out Cruelty.
But, there were also others who were happy to sell tickets to swim with the dolphins, some who said they did not agree but in the end changed their minds despite saying they disagreed....they need naming and shaming again...in fact is it possible to just give a reminder of all those that were promoting the Dolphinarium as I would just hate to use any of them by accident knowing what has happened.....

great idea June. It did get confusing with agents saying different things and having different views in their multiple agencies. Id like to join Hamishs facebook page & have my say, but ultimately these horrible people will get thir just deserts I hope

what a dump i was there when i bought my house in 1991 located in a different place if i remember well
a flee bitten pit,dirty ,smelly ,couldn't wait to get out of there ,and being a green blooded male i always head for an irish bar to watch me beloved hoops ,hail hail the dolphins are free

I drove passed what was the 'Dolphin Park' this evening on our way to Kaya Koy. I stopped the car at the side of the road so that my family (who have followed the cause from the UK, but hadn't seen for themselves, in real life, the true extent of the conditions) could peer through the mesh that still exists, and see the pool where Tom and Misha were kept for all those months. They were in absolute shock... they commented on the size of the pool, and that it was no bigger than the pool at their hotel, also they questioned how the Dolphins had been placed into chemically treated water. They were very pleased to know that the dolphins were now being rehabilitated in sea water and hopefully on their way to recovery.
ps..... Nadia's was completely empty on our way to Kaya... and even better.... on the way back too :)
