Hello to all  :)
can anyone give me advice on driving from england to fethiye (bringing over some personal items/furniture etc) I am thinking of driving a van over myself - and was wondering if anyone has done this recently, and if so, could you tell me the best route to travel,how long it should take, and possibly how much it will cost in terms of fuel/tolls/border taxes etc.etc .I realise I may be asking for a little too much info, but any info would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
P.S. Please dont tell me its not worth doing!!!.....I am looking forward to the experience/challenge.

If you go to the search facility at the top of the page and type in "driving to turkey"  you might find more information.

hi garfiel,
           the turkish guy who lives next doorto me did it last year in a people carrier with his wife and three kids .took them4 dayds from the north of england to altinckum.
dong the same this year but driving to northern italy then catching the ferry to turkiye.
