Title: 90/180 visa
Post by: barry44544 on April 12, 2016, 07:30:37 AM
I have been here on a 90/180 day visa. The 180 days runs out today.
I have spent 90 days in the 180 days in Turkey....
Today I was going to Rhodes for the day and getting a new Tourist visa.
The passport police at Fethiye harbour said NO... I have dad 90 days and must either leave the country
For 3 months or get Residency.
It didn't mater how I tried to explain... Computer said No.
Am I missing something???

Yes, you're missing the fact that you've used up the 90 out 180 days and in danger of being an "overstayer".

The 90 days is calculated on a rolling basis, in arrears - this means you can only stay for 90 days in any one period of 180 days, not the length of the visa.

If you dont fancy the Dalaman Express, my advice would be to get an RP - pop along and see Inspector from here, he'll sort you out.
