The premises have been divided into two small units and one is a bag shop.

Any one know if Bekir has a new venture elsewhere ?

Post by: JohnF on May 03, 2017, 10:57:32 AM: Suspect they wont be the only casualties if this coming season is as poor as last - landlords want their rents in Euros or Dollars, while the bars and restaurant trade on a daily basis in Lira.

It wont be popular with a few on here but the best thing that could happen for many small businesses is the Lira to make a decent recovery against the main currencies, GBP, EUR & USD.

The last two years have been a top notch "International" menu - sadly no more Beef Kulbasti to look forward to.

Post by: Dennis Vint on May 19, 2017, 09:31:14 AM: Had a great evening meal at Anna's bar last year Scunner. We stopped for a drink during the day and asked to look at the evening menu. I fancied salmon but it wasn't on the menu, however the owner promised to provide an "off the menu" meal and we booked for the same evening. A large salmon fillet was served, cooked to perfection and with more veg and salad than I could eat. The steak and the lamb meals served to my daughter and son in law were also very good. I can recommend and we will be calling again when we return in the first couple of weeks in July.
