Title: Chips and rice

Just returned from two weeks in Calis.  Loved it as usual.  One question .....  where to eat that doesn't come with chips, rice and salad even when the menu says " comes with jacket potato and vegetables" ??  We did  have lovely meals in Babzen kebab and mosaic bache. Back in September so any suggestions?

The Manchero Kitchen on the prom between Fethiye and Calis , offer roast potatoes as an alternative to chips. Had an enjoyable meal on the waters edge there.

Carikli Et Restaurant also on the same prom do great food with no rice and chips in sight....

Bella Mama.   Babzen kebab give you cous cous,  onion and red cabbage, which is a change from chips, rice and veg that you don't particularly want.

Bambu  and casa di mama offer vegetables and boiled,roast or mashed potatoes

Im sure most restaurants wil serve what you want, if you tell them. I think most people ask for chips.

Surely all you've got to say is "No chips or rice thank you" or "Hiçbir cips ya da pirinç teşekkür ederim".

Tried this!!!  Asked if meal came with jacket spud and veg... Yes was the reply.... out it came with chips and rice!!!!  Seeing how much veg is available in the markets, where does it all go?..

We asked for and got veg at the Nil Bar and at Guven’s
