Had a meal there last night WOW! What a beautiful place, food extra good, staff lovely.I had a lamb mutancana and I would say it is the most flavoursome dish I have tasted in all my years of coming to Turkey. Going on last nights showing I don't think H needs to do the restaurant vote at the end of the year in my opinion there can only be one winner. I am glad we went so early in our holiday as I think we would struggle to get in towards the end. They will open the eyes of some of the other restaurants round about. Great thing for Calis.

Lamb Mutancana
Tender lamb cooked with honey, onions, butter, almonds and dried fruits served with special Turkish rice and barbecued aubergine yogurt

We went with friends on our first night and the food was supberb each dish with its own unique taste
If you want authentic Turkish food this is the place to go ;D lovely to see Nicola and Dogan again wishing them every success.

Just spent 3 weeks in calis/fethiye and 4 visits to motif this has to be the best restaurants in calis doghan and nicola have got it right again great food great servis and great prices well done to you all cant wait. To come back

Is Motif staying open over the winter?

I would love to go to this restaurant when we are there next week but my wife as to have certain types of food eg chicken breast with no sauce etc.just plain food to be honest.
If nicola is reading this maybe she can help.

We are going to "try" staying open this winter Peat - day times only (with one day closed I think) although the hotel will be open too, and with a smaller menu. We will see how financially viable it is.
Does your wife like fish charlste? We do a fab barbecued Leer Fish (Akya) shish with fresh sweet peppers, salad and potato wedges (my personal favourite on our menu). Also some nice fresh salads: smoked trout, falafel, mediterranean...
We don't do anything with chicken breast I'm afraid although if we know in advance we can do our chicken (thigh meat) shish without a marinade. It's worth popping in in the day on either Fridays or Sundays when Dogan is there from 12 o'clock and ask him what the kitchen can do or adapt. It's normally fairly easy to accommodate people's dietary preferences or requirements and we can also change accompaniments to dishes.

X5 of us went to Motif the other night and it is totally fab!
What a great little setting out the back if you need to wait for a table, we’ve been saying for years the back of prom grounds of the restaurants are such a waste...
We all enjoyed our meals and my hubby said his was the best meal he has ever had here and the rest of the group all said they will be going back...

Four of us had a meal there last night, and wow, just wow.
The service was terrific, the food fabulous and we all decided we’d be back soon.
Dogan and Nichola you are to be congratulated on creating our new favourite Calis restaurant.

We visited agin today in a party of six. Lots of " you must taste this" between us all. Today's favourites were falafel, lamb with fruits, sour cherry stuffed vine leaves and a lovely milk pudding with Tumeric.
We are all still full to busting!
