Title: Another luggage question!

We have received a message from EasyJet stating  that carry on board luggage has now been restricted by the Turkish government. Overhead lockers cannot be used and on board luggage must now be small enough to fit under the seats. We are scheduled to fly next Thursday. Has anybody encountered this restriction and if so is it being enforced or can standard overhead luggage be transferred to the main hold without charge?

Yes normal hand luggage cases go in the hold free of charge

Hmmm, I need to contact them as we have paid for 'up front' seats which includes an extra carry-on bag.  I like to keep it with me in case main luggage goes missing  :(
