Silk Road, Littlehampton

Visited here by chance on an overnight 'daytrip'.  It is a lovely place, richly decorated (check out the wall mural).  The food was delicious, though not quite as authentic.  We had a great evening and made me feel a little closer to Fetiyhe, if just for a short while :-\Spoke to the proprietor and she is very charming and friendly.  She informed me that at weekends they have Turkish nights - music, belly-dancing, disco.  I would definitely travel from Rickmansworth to sample the delights of the Silk Road... if you live down that way, try it out.  I am sure you will not be disappointed.  PS I hope this lands in the right thread.....?????

Oops!  Forgot to say that the restaurant is in Arcade Street. It is just off the main road in the High Street on the corner.

HI - no need to start another thread if you want to add to your post. Just click on the little edit button (little pen and paper icon above) and you can go back and alter things :)
